Acid deposition is an environmental term referring to the complex chemical substance & atmospheric phenomenon that occurs whenever emissions of sulfur and nitrogen compounds and more substances come transformed by chemical action in the atmosphere, often far from either a original sources, so deposited olympian games around either damp or even dry form. A needing changed forms, popularly known as acid rain, can fall to globe when rain, snow, or fog. A dry forms come acidic gases or particulates.

US EPA Acid Rain Program
About EPA efforts reduce electric utilities' emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, the pollutants responsible for acid deposition. The program includes a system of tradable SO2 emissions allowances.
